Be trauma
informed
This September
Join Anthea for Mora Yoga’s Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Training - a Yoga Alliance certified 30 Hour CE training centered around learning trauma-informed practices and gaining confidence in your facilitating, sequencing, cueing and hands on assists.
This training is for yoga teachers, mental health care professionals, and anyone looking to deepen their personal practice and add to their toolkit.
You do not need to be a yoga teacher or facilitator of any kind - you can do this for you (that’s how I started :)!)
*This training counts toward accredited CE. 20 hours in person + 10 hours will be in the form of zoom sessions, self-paced learning, and an optional opportunity to teach to Anthea and receive feedback.

Trauma-Informed Yoga Educator and Founder of Mora Yoga
As a trauma-informed yoga teacher with over 750 hours of specialized training, Anthea is deeply committed to making the healing modality of yoga accessible to all. Her journey began when she found yoga to be inaccessible due to her own struggles with PTSD. Through personal practice and extensive education, Anthea has dedicated the past 7 years to creating inclusive spaces where students can explore the transformative realm of yoga & complimentary modalities.
Anthea has completed training with the Purple Dot Yoga Project, focusing on serving populations of veterans and survivors of domestic violence. She also completed training with the Prison Yoga Project, bringing the benefits of yoga to incarcerated individuals.
Currently, Anthea teaches at TCCNY, a trauma-informed treatment facility for youth transitioning out of the juvenile detention system or with multiple psychiatric hospitalizations, and Baby Cobra Yoga in Bushwick.
In addition to her yoga certification, Anthea is also a certified Mind-Body Medicine practitioner from the Institute of Mind-Body Medicine in Boston and founder of Mora Yoga, a hybrid in-person/online trauma informed yoga studio in Brooklyn.
This past March Anthea became a certified Molchanov freediving instructor and often blends aspects of freediving with her yoga classes.
Anthea's mission is to empower both individuals and yoga instructors to embrace a trauma-informed approach for both teaching and living.
By sharing her knowledge and personal experiences, she aims to create spaces where yoga (and any kind of practice) is truly accessible and where students can feel safe, supported, and empowered.
